Vocal Technique Workshop with Panos Dimas

Panos Dimas comes to Thessaloniki for a unique two-day Vocal Technique Workshop on January 25 & 26!

A two-day seminar introducing a contemporary, scientific and holistic approach to vocal technique, combining theoretical presentations with hands-on practical exercises designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the singing voice.

The workshop is open to both active participants (maximum of 20 participants) and observers.

Active participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, experiment with the exercises under the guidance of the instructors, and work on repertoire of their own choice. Through this process, they will be able to improve their vocal technique, refine their skills and address existing vocal habits and challenges.

Observers are welcome to attend and follow the seminar but will not actively participate in the practical sessions.

The workshop is intended for all voice professionals—including singers, actors, choir directors, accompanists, music educators and vocal coaches—as well as anyone interested in getting to know their voice better and learning how to use it safely, efficiently and with greater confidence.

Panos Dimas was born and raised in Athens, Greece. In 1991, he began his studies in classical singing at the Sofia Conservatory in Bulgaria. Upon returning to Greece, he continued his studies at the National Conservatory. He completed his training as a lyric baritone under Mechtild Stamatakis, graduating with a Diploma in Classical Singing awarded unanimously with highest distinction and first prize.

He has also attended vocal masterclasses with Victoria de los Angeles, Ileana Cotrubas, Luigi Alva and Ghena Dimitrova.
