We are delighted to invite you to the musical performance “Sous le Ciel” by Tales from the Box, presented as part of our Home Concerts series, on Friday, March 29, featuring:
- Thanos Stavridis – accordion
- Stella Tebreli – cello
Taking its title from the French phrase meaning “under the sky”, Sous le Ciel invites audiences on a musical journey through the landscapes and cultures of the Mediterranean.
The programme features original compositions alongside arrangements of beloved pieces, with the accordion of Thanos Stavridis and the cello of Stella Tebreli at the heart of the performance.
Together, the duo presents music through the distinctive sound of the accordion and cello combination. Two highly expressive instruments with a rich history in both the classical and folk music traditions of the Mediterranean and beyond. Two “musical boxes” that promise to transport us through the stories they tell.
