Terpsis Orchestra returns with a new and uniquely hybrid project in collaboration with rapper and composer Ilias Papanikolos, widely known by his stage name Eisvoleas.
This year's project will feature new compositions by Ilias Papanikolos, drawing inspiration from the musical traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean and Greece. Original songs and instrumental pieces, sometimes presented in their original form and sometimes interwoven with rap and storytelling, take us back to our childhood years while inviting us to reflect, question and engage with social issues through Eisvoleas' characteristically sharp and timely lyrics.
The first Open Meeting of the orchestra will take place on:

Information
The workshop is open to anyone interested in joining a collective musical experience. It welcomes singers as well as players of wind instruments, bowed and plucked strings, and traditional percussion instruments, regardless of experience level.

- Programme duration: 8 months, from October to June (one 3-hour session per week)
- Additional weekly and monthly meetings by instrument section with the coordinators (the schedule will be announced after registrations are completed)
- Full orchestra rehearsals with all members
- Final concert / presentation of the musical project in June 2025 upon completion of the workshop
